Does your divorce have Oil and Gas interests?

Does your divorce have Oil and Gas interests? Do you wonder how a looming divorce is affected by COVID-19 impacts to the Oil and Gas industry?

Attorney David S. Bouschor, II, Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, has recently written an article for Collaborative Divorce Texas regarding the special circumstances surrounding oil and gas issues in a divorce.

Mr. Bouschor spent over 10 years working as a geologist in the oil fields of Texas prior to graduating from SMU Dedman School of Law and licensed by the Texas State Bar in 1991.

Mr. Bouschor’s article reviews three areas:

  • An Oil and Gas professional – either an owner or in a management position of an oil and gas company
  • Historical financial representations made by this individual
  • And finally the Covid-19 impact on the Oil and Gas industry, in light of a looming divorce.
